Description

Lithium-ion battery from JMT, high-tech for your motorcycle recognizable by the red housing cover.

Battery is equipped with one or more spacers, which are glued under the battery with the supplied adhesive strip, so that the battery fits exactly into the battery box.

The battery is completely waterproof and takes no damage when the motorcycle is being cleaned at high pressure.

All batteries are equipped with a battery condition indicator.

Just press the test button. If all 3 blue LEDs light up, the battery is fully charged (ful). If only 2 LEDs are lit, it is only half (med) charged. At the latest when only one LED is lit (low), the battery must be charged.

Battery is equipped with four pole connections. Depending on how you install the battery around, the positive pole is located on the left or right, which means that the battery replaces many conventional lead-acid batteries in use.

By replacing a standard lead-acid battery with a JMT lithium-ion battery, you can save up to 5 kg of weight without significant effort.

Lead-acid batteries can only use 30% of their capacity due to their specific properties while nearly 100% of the capacity is available for lithium-ion batteries. For this reason, the lithium versions of the JMT batteries require only 1/3 the capacity of a comparable lead-acid battery for the same starting power. A uniform state of charge of all cells is also ensured by a built-in processor (“balancer”).

Under no circumstances should chargers be used which attempt to desulphurate deep-discharged batteries under 10 volts with a voltage of more than 14.9 volts before they begin the actual charge.The maximum charging voltage of 14.9 volts must never be exceeded.

The manufacturer guarantees a sufficient starting capacity up to -5 degrees Celsius.

JMT lithium-ion batteries use iron phosphate (LiFePO4) as the cathode material and use the lithium-polymer process in their manufacture.

As a result, they can neither go up in flames nor explode in normal operation.
